Zenimax, the parent company of Bethesda Softworks filed a lawsuit against Mojang on September 27, 2011, claiming that Mojang's planned title, Scrolls, infringes upon the Bethesda intellectual property The Elder Scrolls series[11] On October 18, Markus Persson announced that Mojang had won the interim injunction, but that Bethesda may still file an appeal.[12]
